Web Broadcasting hitting the 'Mainstream'
More than six million unique visitors watched more than 8.7 million hours of live basketball online during the first weekend of the season in 2010 which was a whopping 35% increase from 2009, according the Dec. 20, 2010 issue of Sports Illustrated. Last year, says SI, was the year that web broadcasting was "swept up by the first currents of the mainstream."

USA Today went even further: in a front page story with the headline "Is it time to cut the cord on cable TV?" In media circles, web broadcasting is the "sole topic of conversation" said Bernstein Research media analyst Craig Moffet. "It's the whole shooting match."

Network Launches Exciting New Initiative
Network Affiliates are having success helping local churches set up live broadcasts of their services. The feeds appear on a dedicated Faith Channel on the Affiliate sites. The churches like the added exposure it gives them.
iNK Barrel takes care of the technical and training aspects for the churches so the Affiliate is free to spend resources marketing the service to additional churches and selling appropriate ads.
We even have an Affiliate that has sold the service to a funeral home to broadcast live memorial services.
