Get Your Game Face On
Newspaper Profiting Even Before Football Starts
Football season is on us. Friday night games provide your newspaper with the opportunity to make huge profits. The Watertown Public Opinion in Watertown, S.D., is doing just that - to the tune of five figure sales. They have outlined their game schedule and have been out selling ads since early July.

They created a sales sheet with graphics of the available positions, and also information about sponsorship packages. This includes the url for our demo website, which features house ads. This website visual aid makes it more "real" and interactive for the potential advertiser. To make this product more budget-friendly, Watertown offered to divide the advertising package by seven months (billed August - March).

They have already sold thousands of dollars - and are still out on the street - for Football and Basketball. Go Watertown Arrows!

How your paper can get started:
1. Define the Game dates you're going to film and get them loaded on your Live Sports Console.
2. Use these dates AND any away game dates your neighbor papers are shooting to make advertising packages. (If your neighbors aren't taking advantage of this new medium, call them up before some startup moves in on their territory.)
3. Customize the iNK Barrel sales document and take this out to your advertisers.

iNK Barrel provides a 30-minute training for your ad sales team that will answer any questions about the ad spots and video consoles. To schedule your training or get the ad sales documents contact Carrie Pobre at 424.772.1470 or cpobre@inkbarrelvideo.com.

For Broadcasting: iNK Barrel customer service will walk you through the entire process from buying equipment to testing a live broadcast. Contact our support team at 605.721.3997 or support@inkbarrelvideo.com.
